This weather torn barn is located on Hwy. 27 and 15th sideroad. While driving by on my way home from Schomberg it caught my eye, on its beauty and how it still standing, snapped a couple of pictures with my iPhone, off to my studio to paint it on canvas.

The title I choose is perfect, this barn has aged and weathered many storms through the years of sun, rain, winds, snow, hail and is still standing.  It’s solid as a rock, but as time goes by, we know that it will not last forever, so to preserve the historical memories both for you and I to enjoy, the memories of the family/families that lived and used/worked in the stunning barn or still living on this property, is captured on canvas forever.

The fields were blessed with a little fresh snow the night before, which made the barn stand out even more on the painting.
