What looks to be an abstract piece, is actually a picture of a sunset taken through a tiny hole. I had been on my balcony at sunset one evening, and noticed a light coming through the little hole on the arm of my Muskoka chair that was folded against the railing. Quickly, I snatched my phone and placed the camera directly on the hole and captured this amazing view. A very different way to view a sunset! The colours that came through the lens produced a flower shape that I decided to replicate using pastels.

Note: the second picture is the hole in the Muskoka chair that prompted the image, and the third picture is what was taken with my phone. Incredible!
