The Aurora United Church was constructed in the late 1800’s as a place of worship. Ironically, the original frame had been destroyed by a fire, and it was decided to rebuild an expanded building. This was the building that eventually was completely destroyed by a fire in April, 2014. This beautiful historic building will be missed, and although it burned down, its presence can still be felt, and will continue to be for years to come.
